You'll enjoy it there Pete. Portmeirion is superb - not just the village (which is great) but you can wander through woodlands and walk along the estuary.
Stunning scenery...and really like your shot with the island and the rainbow.... went to Portmerion years ago but only the village... looks good for wildlife walking too :D
The woods behind the village and the coastal path down to Goleudy Lighthouse are well worth a visit if you go again Tricia. Estuary and woods are good for wildlife although we had to cut short walks this year (rain!)

Welcome to my blog. I have been interested in natural history from an early age and we have tried to create a garden attractive to wildlife. I also enjoy reading, photography, collecting fossils, visiting historic buildings and gardens and supporting Aston Villa.
