We returned to Herefordshire last week for four nights - we found it much easier travelling back on the Saturday traffic wise than on a Friday. We went on Tuesday and, as we are still trying to use up food, we just stopped off in Bromyard for a few items rather than having the usual click and collect at Morrisons in Leominster.
We were lucky with the weather as it remained dry although there were a few misty mornings on a few of the days. I didn't feel 100 per cent as I had managed to catch B's cold and on top of that the week before cellulitis had returned yet again which meant another week on antibiotics.
Timothy back on his shelf.
The Herefordshire Oak with definite autumnal tints!
This photo was taken from a different part of the site but sadly the telephone wires or whatever they are still get in the way!
The Octopus Tree - looking much like the visit a few weeks ago.
The Constable Tree still seems to have retained some leaves!
Autumnal colours in the Copse

One morning we watched a Green Woodpecker foraging near to the caravan. Some record shots - some taken when it was still misty!
On the Friday we popped into Leominster - I've included the photos in this post as I didn't take many. I hoped to buy a few Christmas presents but sadly didn't really find anything suitable.
As you can see they are still re-doing the Town Square!
On the Wednesday we went for a local walk in Hatfield and I'll write about that in the next post.
All photos taken by me with the Panasonic Lumix FZ330 bridge camera. (I don't particularly rate my photos but if anyone wishes to use one of mine or my son's I would be grateful for an email first - thanks).
