I made another brief visit to Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens last week and spent a pleasant hour wandering round the Gardens which are an unique example of an English Baroque garden in the process of being restored to the period 1680 - 1762.

Love the colours of the squashes and pumpkins, reminds me of harvest festivals in the church at my primary school. Have a lovely weekend :o)
Hi RR That certainly is a fantastic place to visit so I am glad you had a hour to spend there. wonderful gardens and still quite a lot is bloom. Have a great weekend.
A lovely selection of images from such a pretty garden. Rain wont stop apple day I'm sure.

SeagullSuzie - Thanks so much Suzie. It will go ahead regardless and at least it looks dry tomorrow :)
What a lovely place to visit - that Orangery was a lovely building. So good to see Spindle tree fruit again - something I miss now I'm not in a limestone area. There used to be masses of them along the Shaftesbury Drove when I lived just outside Coombe Bissett, near Salisbury.
Bovey Belle - Thanks so much. Spindle berries are really unusual - en masse must be a stunning sight :)
Yet another amazing trip around a beautiful place. I never need to leave home. I wanted to reach into the screen and grab one of those apples.
Em Parkinson - Thanks so much :) Often been tempted to pluck one from a branch when I've been there :)
