Mystery Moth

With a minimum temperature of 2.7 degrees centigrade on Friday night, I wasn't expecting to find many moths in the moth trap yesterday morning. For a while I thought I had failed to catch any but eventually found a worn noctuid hiding under one of the egg boxes. Have checked the moth "bible" and various websites but I am really struggling on this one.

Edit - Many thanks to Stewart and Bennyboymothman for identifying this particular moth as a Green Brindled Crescent - really chuffed as its a new species for the garden.


Here's a couple of photos - hind wing is pale grey and wingspan is just over 15mm.
Legs appear slightly stripey.







Any help with id would, as always be greatly appreciated.
