Happy New Year Caroline! Snowdrops are a bit previous though, surely? ;-) I noticed mine just poking out of the soil when I looked under some dead fern foliage the other day. Nice to see signs of life. It's really icy here, but looks incredibly pretty with a harsh white frost that has hung around all day long. Have a good evening! xx
Millymollymandy - Happy New Year to you too Mandy. Yes, you are right - it is an old photo - taken some years back at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens - probably end Jan/Feb time. Mine in the garden aren't even poking through yet though we do have buds on primroses :) Gloomy here today but we have had some nice frosty sunny days this week - David got some great photos at sunrise! Have a good evening too - just been watching a BBC programme on the Brontes recorded from earlier this week. Now time for a glass of Prosecco (is that how you spell it??) - not usually a fan of sparkling wines I prefer them still!!! but it will be a change :)
Simon Douglas - Sorry Simon it is an old photo! Rarely see them this early round here although will be going out soon to look for them on the off chance :)
Tricia Ryder - Thank you and have a wonderful 2017.
Toffeeapple - Thanks so much. Your lovely comment makes blogging worthwhile - sometimes I am on the verge of stopping (thinking to myself same old same old.....) so your kind words are really appreciated. My very best wishes to you for 2017 :)
