It was Apple Weekend at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens last weekend so we went along on Sunday afternoon to have a look.
Molly Dancers were performing on the Archery Lawn as we arrived.
There was a display of Heritage Apple and Pear varieties in the Green House.
North Orchard
Pumpkins, Marrows and Heritage Potato varieties displayed in the Summer House

I would love to go to something like this! Thank goodness for old orchards and people keeping the old heritage varieties alive. Glad you've been getting out and about and having so much fun. :-)
ReplyDeleteMillymollymandy - Thanks so much. There seems to be quite a revival in orchards these days with more people trying to keep the heritage varieties alive which has to be good news :)
