St Nicholas with the Norman work was quite a surprise as I hadn't done any "homework" before going but the highlight for me was the Morris & Co windows :)Ragged Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14090463834740346114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-47676517230352807302020-01-10T14:05:34.462+00:002020-01-10T14:05:34.462+00:00It's a lovely church. I like the restored Norman arches on both the South door and the Chancel and the outside of the East window too:)Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733563829902335223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-84851257162426739072020-01-10T13:28:40.312+00:002020-01-10T13:28:40.312+00:00Great blog post, loved looking at all the photos. ...Great blog post, loved looking at all the photos.
Amanda xx Amanda Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16760505541954557539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-3324225019510354022020-01-10T11:58:29.769+00:002020-01-10T11:58:29.769+00:00Margaret Birding For Pleasure - Thanks so much - g...Margaret Birding For Pleasure - Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed :)

Rustic Pumpkin - Thanks so much. Hidden somewhere in a storage box I have a longer guide I think to the first church - will see if I can find and look for more information on exterior carvings :) Will also check Pevsner! Yes the churchyward in the second church was a bit full of Christmas decoration!Ragged Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14090463834740346114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-79716270633297812942020-01-10T09:25:21.966+00:002020-01-10T09:25:21.966+00:00Some lovely details in the carvings and arches. I always find graveyards look a bit strange at Christmas. I think it's the artificial door wreaths that people use to combat the elements.Rustic Pumpkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335714529878600216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-90089908301241078612020-01-10T06:59:31.142+00:002020-01-10T06:59:31.142+00:00Lovely photographs of these buildings.
