I'm so glad you found the photos...Hi anonymous

I'm so glad you found the photos of the plaster ceilings and liked them. I took about 20 photos of the ceilings in total although some of them are just of sections of the ceiling. Obviously I only put a few of the better photos on the posting but if you would like me to email copies of more of the ceiling photos please let me know either by email (email address is on the "About Me" bit on the blog home page) or place a further comment. All the best. Sorry I can't help on how Lady Ida died - I have checked through various books I have on Castle Bromwich and can't find anything there. A quick websearch didn't reveal a reason. The only thing I can suggest is some of the genealogy websites although I have a feeling many aren't free.

When I next go to the Gardens I will ask around and see if any one there has any information although you may well have already tried this.Ragged Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14090463834740346114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-69539752877232201882011-03-27T02:05:45.865+01:002011-03-27T02:05:45.865+01:00I did too :-) being fairly local I have always had...I did too :-) being fairly local I have always had a fascination with the hall. That's a relief as after I'd written it I thought it was a bit self-indulgent and only really of interest to those who live locally :D Most of the photos were of plaster ceilings!Ragged Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14090463834740346114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320975515799225099.post-61251180082584350492010-12-22T21:27:46.329+00:002010-12-22T21:27:46.329+00:00ooh i enjoyed that!!ooh i enjoyed that!!The Quacks of Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05165918541194607143noreply@blogger.com
